Event Description
(For adults) This is a mini adventure series that builds on learning and skills over 3 classes. Kick and glide your way across the wintry landscape with the Urban Ecology Center! Over three weeks we'll learn the basics of cross country skiing to build our ability and stamina! From a balanced stance, to coordinating arm and leg movements we'll help build your foundation for this favorite winter past-time. 

We'll meet at Riverside Park for the first two weeks and then venture to another local green space to ski the trails on a mini field trip for week three. Gear provided for participants. Please dress for the weather, warm winter layers and thick socks are recommended. Adults 18 and older are encouraged to join us. 

If warmer winter weather persists into January, we'll reschedule this series to take place in February when hopefully there is more snow.
Reschedule dates are: Feb 16th, Feb 23rd, & March 1st.

Confirmation/Cancelation Policy:
If you sign up for a program and your plans change, we kindly request that you let us know at least 10 business days in advance so we have the opportunity to offer a program to others. We will provide refunds as follows: 10 business days or more: full refund, 5-9 business days: 50% refund, 0-4 business days: no refund.
