(For families) Let's get together virtually to celebrate nature, birds, and ultimately each other, at the Backyard Birding Blitz! 🐦On Saturday, September 12th, people from around Milwaukee (and even the world!) will take to their backyards as they “compete” in the Backyard Birding Blitz. Join this fun and interactive birding challenge from your own backyard or neighborhood!
We will be live on YouTube, answering your questions and hosting nature-themed trivia with prizes like gift certificates from local restaurants to support our Milwaukee community during these trying times.
Family Challenge (8:30-10:00 am CDT)
There will be a variety of challenges and actives such as guided bird crafts, bird themed bingo, and more for families and kids that concludes with a Live Family Friendly Trivia. Participants will be entered into a raffle prize drawing for those that share a picture of their bingo card with us on our Facebook event page.

This is a free event, with donations accepted. There has never been a more critical time to support the Urban Ecology Center's mission of connecting people in cities to nature and each other. Your generous support keeps our green spaces thriving and our virtual and limited in-person programming available to all in our community. As always, everyone is invited to participate in our programs. Personal financial situations vary widely and can change. Please choose the option that best fits you, your family and your guests.
