Event Description
(For everyone) Sign up for this FREE workshop to learn basic fishing skills and where to find fishable waters close to home.

This NO COST 4-session workshop will be in person following social distancing protocols preparing you for fishing and culminating with a demo of how to clean and cook your catch of the day. You’ll learn about Wisconsin’s fishing tradition and how to keep it sustainable. All gear and supplies are provided and COVID-19 precautions will be in place.

Thursday & Friday June 9 & 10, 2022 | 6 p.m.-9:00 p.m. (Urban Ecology Center, 1859 N 40 Street)

Saturday: June 11, 2022 |Fishing Outing at Estabrook Park|9:00a.m.-Noon. Meeting location announced at a later date. *Possibly Longer if they’re biting!

Sunday: June 12, 2022|1 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. |Cook the catch! Outside of the Urban Ecology Center in Washington Park
