5:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Menomonee Valley

Event Description
(For everyone) Join the UEC and a mix of partners as we lead and co-facilitate an interactive data collection hike through Three Bridges Park. Dr. Somesh Roy of Marquette University will engage participants in a dialogue about the neighborhood—with an emphasis on the impacts of industrialization, air quality, and public health. This 1-mile hike is fully accessible, with the route following paved trails. Air sensors that collect air quality data in real time will be utilized along with other cool data collection tools during this program. The readings will then be converted into data visualizations that will be displayed in the Haggerty Museum of Art’s exhibition Tomás Saraceno: Entangled Air, on view through May 21.

This collaborative AirWalk is part of a program series aligned with the Haggerty's exhibition of Saraceno's work.  Learn more about the other AirWalks here.

For any additional questions about this program, please contact Menomonee Valley Branch Manager, Angélica Sánchez Mora, at asanchez@urbanecologycenter.org.
