Event Description
(For everyone) Join us for our annual Moth Party — a nighttime celebration of some of the coolest, fuzziest, and most underappreciated creatures around. With over 390 species of moths in Wisconsin alone, there’s a whole world of winged wonders waiting to be discovered after dark.We’ll explore Riverside Park under the stars, learning how to attract and ID local moth species, make our own “sugaring solution” (aka moth bait smoothie!), and get up close with other nocturnal critters that love the nightlife as much as we do.

What to Expect:
 -Hands-on moth observation under lights and with bait
 -Learn the difference between moths and butterflies
 -DIY sugaring station — create your own moth attractant
 -Moth facts, ID tips, and stories about local and rare species
 -Discover how moths fit into the nighttime ecosystem (predators, pollinators, and more!)

If you sign up for a program and your plans change, we kindly request that you let us know at least 10 business days in advance so we have the opportunity to offer a program to others. We will provide refunds as follows: 10 business days or more: full refund, 5-9 business days: 50% refund, 0-4 business days: no refund.
