Naturalist Camp WP 1 - 5 weeks! Scholarship (for completed grades 1 and 2)

Description: Inspired by Forest Schools in Europe, we invite your child to continue their exploration of the natural world through six weeks of summer camp at Washington Park’s 140 acre outdoor classroom. Explore the outdoors through hikes, habitat explorations, hands-on activities and much more!

Camp Dates and Location: Weekdays June 14-July 16, Washington Park

Camp Times: 9:30am - 3:30pm* Before and After Care are available for Camp Name sessions.**

Grade Levels: Participants must have completed grade 1 or grade 2 in the 2020-2021 school year. 

Mandatory Parent meeting: Monday, June 14, 3:30-4:30 pm

*Camper drop off is from 9:15-9:30am and camper pick up is from 3:30-3:45pm. If a child is dropped off before 9:15am or picked up after 3:45pm, before and/or after care fees will be applied to your balance. Before care is from 8-9:15am and after care ends at 5pm. Late fees will apply per 15 minutes or portion therof. 

**Before and After care are offered Monday through Friday when camps are in session. Your child may attend before and/or after care during the weeks they are enrolled in camp. Please add before and after care to your order by selecting WP 1 (5 weeks) Before and/or After Care sessions. 

Important Notes:

To apply for a scholarship, visit urbanecologycenter.org/summercamp/scholarship or complete the Scholarship section on the paper registration form. Please allow 7 days for a response. Scholarships are awarded based on a sliding scale and in consideration of household income and number of dependents. If awarded, you will receive the scholarship code by email for use at time of payment in registration. 

Wisconsin Shares: If you plan to apply Wisconsin Shares for camp payment, please contact us directly to setup registration and hold your spot with a 10% deposit. Contact your Wisconsin Shares office for authorization and any questions related to authorization.
