November Washington Park Young Scientists Club

4:00-6:00pm Tues-Thurs and 11:00am-2:00pm Saturdays at Washington Park

Registration for this program can be done online here or in person at Washington Park.

The Young Scientist Club is an after school program that’s full of educational adventures for kids ages 5-12. Led by UEC Educators, kids will construct nature-based arts and crafts, create self-guided research projects, engage in nature play and so much more. And all along the way they’ll be encouraged to get engaged, ask questions, and discover the answers.

Pre-registration is not required, but is appreciated, as Young Scientist Club is a drop-in program for each meeting date. Spots for each day are awarded on a first come, first serve basis. To become a member of Young Scientists Club, please arrive early to your first session and a UEC Staff member will help you register. The fee is $15 per year, per student with scholarships available. Program fees are collected at the time of registration. The program capacity is set at a maximum of 10 students per day.
