Event Description
(For ages 6-11) Let’s explore the great outdoors together in Riverside Park! This afterschool club is all about adventure, discovery, and fun. No two days are the same. We’ll spend time exploring and playing outdoors, while making new friends and building community with kids from the neighborhood. 

For this season we'll explore the winter ecology of Riverside Park and (of course) have fun playing in the snow. We'll explore the woods in the park to find out what our animal friends are up to in winter and solve some winter tree mysteries. When there's snow to play in, we'll take full advantage by going sledding or snowshoeing!

In February we'll kick off maple sugaring season by talking about how maple syrup gets made and trying out the process for ourselves. Every session is designed to spark curiosity, get moving, and connect with the natural world.

Please dress for the weather and bring a water bottle and snack. Winter gear will be available to borrow as needed.
