Event Description
Unwind at the end of the day with a peaceful evening paddle on the Milwaukee River. This beginner friendly canoe trip departs from Riverside Park Urban Ecology Center, an ideal location for paddlers building confidence on moving water. As the sun sets, enjoy the calm river, changing colors of the evening sky, and the unique perspective of Milwaukee from the water.

Canoeing requires flexibility to get in and out of the vessel, upper body and core strength, and a fair amount of balance. Our staff are happy to assist with launching and exiting your canoe. Lifeguard certified staff will guide this relaxing sunset adventure and provide basic paddling instruction along the way. Pre-registration is required.

If you sign up for a program and your plans change, we kindly request that you let us know at least 10 business days in advance so we have the opportunity to offer a program to others. We will provide refunds as follows: 10 business days or more: full refund, 5-9 business days: 50% refund, 0-4 business days: no refund.
