Event Description
(For everyone) Stop into the Riverside Park Urban Ecology Center for an opportunity to practice the foundations of canoeing with your family! We'll host a variety of stations including: paddling strokes 101, 20 minute guided canoe experiences on the Milwaukee River, & self guided river bank hikes. Dress for the weather, pack a snack, and bring your friends for the unique opportunity to connect with people & nature in the city. Urban Ecology Center will provide all gear necessary to participate, for those who wish to paddle in a canoe. Lifejackets, paddles, and boats included for ages 3 and up. Canoes can safely hold up to 3 individuals per boat. First come, first served. Experiences run from 10am-2pm. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Confirmation/Cancelation Policy:
If you sign up for a program and your plans change, we kindly request that you let us know at least 10 business days in advance so we have the opportunity to offer a program to others. We will provide refunds as follows: 10 business days or more: full refund, 5-9 business days: 50% refund, 0-4 business days: no refund.
