Virtual: Extraordinary Wildlife in Your Backyard: Blue Grass of Kentucky

9-10am CST, Fridays, Online via Zoom
Registration is required for this program.

Likely the most common species in our collective backyards is arguably one of the most successful species on the planet – Grass! Specifically, Kentucky Blue Grass. It feels good under our feet and the smell of a fresh cut lawn brings deep nostalgia but it’s also one of the most invasive species with almost no value to wildlife. All this means plenty of wondrous stories to tell about the natural history of grass.

Upon registration, you will be sent an email containing the link to the Zoom session. Look for this email 1 hour prior to event start time.

Why are there different pricing options below?

Pick your price
Personal financial situations vary widely so we provide two pricing options to make our programs accessible:

Please choose the option that best fits you, your family and your guests.

This is a free event, with donations accepted. There has never been a more critical time to support the Urban Ecology Center's mission of connecting people in cities to nature and each other.
