Virtual Lecture: Intro to Odonates: an Overview of Dragonflies and Damselflies

9-10:15am CST, Friday July 10th, Online via Zoom
Registration is required for this program.

Odonates, or dragonflies and damselflies as they are more commonly known, play an important role as indicators of a healthy environment. Learn all about these beautiful works of art and powerful fliers as we explore what makes them such incredible assassins in the air. You will leave with a basic knowledge of Wisconsin species' life cycles, morphology, diversity, and more.

This lecture is in conjunction with the Wisconsin Dragonfly Society's statewide Bioblitz, as well as the UEC's "How to Train your Dragonfly" event on Saturday, July 11th.

Upon registration, you will be sent an email containing the link to the Zoom session. Look for this email 1 hour prior to event start time.

This is a free event, with donations accepted. There has never been a more critical time to support the Urban Ecology Center's mission of connecting people in cities to nature and each other. YOUR generous support keeps our green spaces thriving and our virtual and limited in-person programming available to all in our community.
