Event Description
(For adults & teens) Along the shore of Lake Michigan, Harrington Beach State Park offers up a suite of habitats across its 715 acres. We’ll spend the morning exploring and searching for birds as they stop-over on their migratory journey. We’ll be joined by Jacob Woulf, Motus Coordinator for Lake Michigan Bird Observatory, to learn about the work they’re doing and their partnership with the Urban Ecology Center.

Time listed includes transportation - meet at Riverside Park at 8am!

Binoculars available upon request. Waitlist available, email atokuyama@urbanecologycenter.org to be added if the trip is full.

If you sign up for a program and your plans change, we kindly request that you let us know at least 10 business days in advance so we have the opportunity to offer a program to others. We will provide refunds as follows: 10 business days or more: full refund, 5-9 business days: 50% refund, 0-4 business days: no refund.
