Event Description(For adults & teens) Wehr Nature Center is a hot spot for birding in Milwaukee County. Join Jeff Veglahn, Land Manager at Wehr, and walk through various plant communities found at the 220-acre nature preserve. We’ll learn about prairies, woodlands, and wetlands, and the management efforts taking place to make Wehr Nature Center an even better birding location.
2 - 2.5 hour hike on trails ranging from boardwalk to wood chips to dirt. Some of the trail will be on hilly terrain. Binoculars available upon request.
Time listed includes transportation - meet at Riverside Park at 8am!Waitlist available, email atokuyama@urbanecologycenter.org to be added if the trip is full.
