Event Description
(For adults & teens) Join us for a peaceful paddle as we introduce the fundamentals of canoeing! This beginner-friendly experience will cover basic paddling techniques, safety essentials, and boat handling to help you feel confident on the water. Canoes and life jackets will be provided. Please wear closed-toe shoes that can get wet and bring a full bottle of water.
Participants will work together to team carry canoes 300 feet from racks to the launch site. Prepare for moderate physical activity, including, lifting, bending, reaching, and crouching.

If you sign up for a program and your plans change, we kindly request that you let us know at least 10 business days in advance so we have the opportunity to offer a program to others. We will provide refunds as follows: 10 business days or more: full refund, 5-9 business days: 50% refund, 0-4 business days: no refund.
