Event description:

The Young Scientist Club is an after school program that’s full of educational adventures for kids ages 5-12. Led by UEC Educators, kids will construct nature-based arts and crafts, create self-guided research projects, and so much more. And all along the way they’ll be encouraged to get engaged, ask questions, and discover the answers. Join the fun and sign up for a Virtual Young Scientist Club session or field trip today!

Pre-registration is not required as Young Scientist Club is a drop-in program for each meeting date. Spots for each day are awarded on a first come, first serve basis. To become a member of Young Scientists Club, please arrive early to your first session and a UEC Staff member will help you register.

Membership cost $15 per year, per student with scholarships available. Program fees are to be collected in-person, at our Washington Park branch before the program begins. The program capacity is set at a maximum of 10 students per day.

For questions about scholarships or this program, contact Terry Evans at tevans@urbanecologycenter.org.
