(For womxn) Urban Ecology Center invites you to participate in walks for women, in collaboration with Aurora Walker's Point Clinic. In these walks, you will be joined by other womxn from the community with the purpose of involving more people in green and safe spaces during all seasons of the year. El Urban Ecology Center te invita a participar en caminatas para mujeres, en colaboración con Aurora Walker's Point Clinic. En estas caminatas, caminaremos con otras mujeres de la comunidad con el propósito de involucrar a más personas en espacios verdes y seguros durante todas las estaciones del año.

(For everyone) Doors Open Milwaukee is a two-day public celebration of Milwaukee’s art, architecture, culture, and history. Visit our Menomonee Valley Branch and see how a tavern has been transformed into a community space. Take a tour and discover a green roof, a hidden slide, some animal friends, and see how materials can be repurpose to build something new.

Event Description
(For everyone) Enjoy a morning hike for kids in the Menomonee Valley Community Park and Three Bridges Park. Three expert storytellers will be stationed along the route ready to engage young minds with stories that relate to nature. All kids are welcome, but stories are geared toward kids 5-10 years old. Adult caregivers will surely enjoy the stories and learning about these places as well! 

*Nature journals will be handed out while supplies last. 

This event is free, but we ask you to RSVP so we have an estimate of how many people will attend.
