Riverside Park
Registration required
Event Description
Unwind at the end of the day with a peaceful evening paddle on the Milwaukee River. This beginner-friendly canoe trip departs from the Riverside Park Urban Ecology Center, an ideal location for paddlers building confidence on moving water. As the sun sets, enjoy the calm river, changing colors of the evening sky, and the unique perspective of Milwaukee from the water.
Canoeing requires flexibility to get in and out of the vessel, upper body and core strength, and a fair amount of balance. UEC staff can assist with launching and exiting your canoe. Lifeguard-certified staff will guide this adventure and provide basic paddling instruction along the way. Ages 13 and up.
