Menomonee Valley

Event Description
Winter in Milwaukee may seem quiet, but beneath the snow and ice, the city’s ecosystems are alive with remarkable adaptations. On this guided winter ecology stroll, we’ll uncover the hidden strategies that plants, animals, and other organisms use to survive—and even thrive—through the city’s coldest months. Bundle up and experience winter as an active, dynamic season—where life persists, adapts, and even thrives in the cold heart of the city. Please dress for the weather and consider bringing boot grips for this winter ecology walk!
